Peace out

DA supporters took to the streets of Johannesburg to protest against Cosatu’s opposition to the youth wage subsidy on Tuesday (May 15 2012). DA leader Helen Zille, parliamentary leader Lindiwe Mazibuko with party national spokesperson Mmusi Maimane led the march.  What started out as a peaceful march turned violent when DA supporters reached Jorissen Street, Braamfontein, and were confronted by Cosatu members.
